| At the end of 2010 Broadfields primary school held a fundraising day in memory of Charlie, they all wore green which was Charlie`s favourite colour and set off lots of green helium balloons into the sky. This was for a charity of our choice, The Christian Lewis Trust, who sent us to Disney after Charlie's diagnosis. They decided to do this annually and the last 2 Green days monies raised came to Brain Tumour Research.
At the end of 2013 they did an extra special one as it would be Charlie`s friends last one in primary school, with fairground rides and animal handling and much more. A big thank you to Broadfields primary school teachers, parents and pupils with special thanks to Beth Hanham for organising it all and head teacher Mr Archibald for allowing a day in the year to remember Charlie from 2010-2013 We are extremely grateful . |
