Charlie Charges On - (Brain Tumour Research Charity No: 1153487)

In Feb 2014 Charlie Charges On was founded in memory of our son Charlie and his love of rhinos. Charlie sadly lost his battle with a brain tumour in November 2010.

After discovering brain tumours are the biggest killer of children and under 40`s than any other cancer, and receive less than 1% of the national cancer research spend on funding, we decided to set up Charlie Charges On under the national charity Brain Tumour Research umbrella in Charlie`s memory. We will help fund the fight against brain tumours and keep our promise to Charlie that we would never give up.

Brain Tumour Research is a charity in the UK that is dedicated to funding continuous and sustainable scientific research and is a leading voice in this country calling for greater support and action for research into brain tumours.

Since we began, Charlies Charges On has helped raise awareness highlighting the lack of funding brain tumours receive and in March 2015 Charlie Charges On supported Brain Tumour Research and their invest in a cure manifesto at The Houses Of Parliament. We are continuing to raise awareness and help fund the fight against brain tumours.

Last year in October we held our first  Black Tie Charity Ball in Charlie`s memory and raised £10,026.92. This October we are hosting "Greek Night " celebrating Charlie`s love for Cyprus and his greek/cyproit heritage whilst helping fund more research.
